Watch as I set up my ultralight hiking tent before the rainstorm begins and only just managing to do it when the thunder starts rolling around above.

I’ve wanted to test how my Marmot tent would cope with extreme rain and this was the perfect opportunity. I had hoped that there would be a way to put up the fly first so that the tent would remain dry particularly as the tent walls are basically mesh but that wasn’t practical. If I had to put this tent up in the rain, there’d be no way to keep the tent dry. Leave a comment if you know how this could be done as I’d be keen to learn.
