Join me beside the lake on a winter evening while I set up a tarp for shelter then cook a meal on an open sided fire pit. Cooking good camp food on the fire; beef steak, potatoes cooked in foil in the embers and mixed veggies - mushrooms, onion and capsicum. Campfire food is the best. Dessert was a steamed pudding. The forecast was for rain and wind which kindly stayed away making a lovely evening on the lakeside.
