My first SOLO camp in COLD weather. Enjoy the sounds of camping with me on my first SOLO camp in cold weather. Sit back and enjoy the relaxing sounds of camping, sounds of nature, rain sounds, river sounds, waterfall sounds, ASMR, cooking in a tent. I camped mid winter, the longest night - shortest day of the year, the winter solstice - winter equinox, Matariki. Cooking beef steak and stir fry vegetables for dinner, bacon and eggs for breakfast and date scones on the gas camp cooker.

The Broken Hills Campsite is located beside the Tairua River amongst native forest. This is a scenic campsite in the Coromandel region.
